Bags and more bags

A recent order from a retail store in St Jacobs has me working on tote bags, purses and anything you might put in a purse. This is some of what I have been sewing.

Coasting along

I'm getting ready for a craft show and am hoping that these sets of coasters will be the sort of item that someone will purchase on impulse. If not, I will have quite a supply of them!

QuiltyGranny included one of the sets in a beautiful treasury that she curated recently.

Disappearing 9-Patch

These pot holders did manage to get finished, however!
So far, none of these quilt tops have been finished. I have placed the blocks together to show the pattern when completed. Then it's on to the next one!

Since joining etsy I have become a member of a great groups of quilters, the Quiltsy Team. It's a group that is so supportive of all its members and there is always a tip or two to be learned from them. One of the things I learned recently was the "Disappearing 9-Patch" block. So simple to do and so effective! Ebony at LoveBug Studios has put together a great tutorial. http://www.handmadenews.org/article/index.php?id=3297
I can't stop experimenting with it!
