Bags and more bags

A recent order from a retail store in St Jacobs has me working on tote bags, purses and anything you might put in a purse. This is some of what I have been sewing.

Farewell to the Friday Favorites

I was thrilled to be notified this morning that one of my items made it onto the Quiltsy Team blog, but saddened that the Friday Favorite feature is disappearing. So my bird-themed backpack purse was the final pick on the final posting.

A two-treasury day

Yesterday was a great day on Etsy. Not only did I list and sell my purse organizer, but I found myself in not one, but TWO treasuries. And that extra exposure sure can't hurt!

Getting organized!

We're back from our vacation to Ecuador and it seems that since then I've been trying to get organized.... catching up on laundry, going through trip photos and trying to organize 2 to 3 years accumulation of pictures on my computer, rearranging my sewing studio..... so perhaps it's not too surprising that one of the first new items I've made is a purse organizer!

The seven pockets can be loaded with those small essentials we all carry with us, but can never easily find in the jumble at the bottom of our purse. Now, not only will they be organized but the whole contents can be easily moved from one bag to another!
